Τα Gamescom Awards 2025 απονεμήθηκαν στις 22 Αυγούστου στην Κολωνία, αναδεικνύοντας τους κορυφαίους τίτλους της χρονιάς μέσα από δεκαεννέα κατηγορίες. Μεγάλος πρωταγωνιστής της βραδιάς ήταν το Resident Evil Requiem της Capcom, που κατέκτησε πολλαπλές διακρίσεις, ενώ έντονη παρουσία είχαν επίσης παιχνίδια όπως το Donkey Kong Bananza, το Mario Kart World και το Hela.
Στην τελική απονομή, το Resident Evil Requiem κέρδισε τέσσερα βραβεία: καλύτερα οπτικά, καλύτερο ήχο, την κατηγορία “Most Epic” και το βραβείο καλύτερου PlayStation παιχνιδιού. Το Donkey Kong Bananza αναδείχθηκε για το gameplay, ενώ το Mario Kart World απέσπασε το βραβείο καλύτερου τίτλου για το Nintendo Switch 2.
Το Hela των Windup και Knights Peak διακρίθηκε με δύο βραβεία, αναγνωριζόμενο ως το πιο διασκεδαστικό και το πιο “wholesome” παιχνίδι. Το Tiny Bookshop απέσπασε την κατηγορία “Games for Impact” χάρη στον κοινωνικό του χαρακτήρα, ενώ στην κατηγορία των mobile τίτλων ξεχώρισε το Love and Deepspace. Στα Xbox βραβεία, η νίκη πήγε στο Grounded 2 της Obsidian Entertainment, ενώ στην κατηγορία PC κορυφαίος τίτλος αναδείχθηκε το Anno 117: Pax Romana της Ubisoft Mainz.
Τα Gamescom Awards 2025 αποτύπωσαν την ποικιλία της σύγχρονης βιομηχανίας, συνδυάζοντας μεγάλες παραγωγές με ανεξάρτητες δημιουργίες.
